I am a 44R in jacket sizes and have been for many years. All my jackets bought from Brook Taverner have been 44R including a very recent one. I was shocked when I tried on the suit jacket and found that I could not do up the buttons due to the front having a four inch gap between the buttons and the button holes. The size label read 44R but I think it was much smaller than that. Sent back for refund.

i first ordered a suit for next day …

i first ordered a suit for next day delivery however, due to a mistake by couriers arrived a day late. I complained to BT and received immediately a refund of the delivery charge. The suit was absolutely spot on, stylish and excellent quality. Ordered four shirt shortly after. and these were delivered within 24 hours - brilliant service. Only comment I would make on the short sleeve shirts are they had tails and not the type you could wear without tucking in to trousers - not shown as such on the photos. But, again excellent quality and value. Will use them again with confidence.

Since M&S and Debenhams have restricted the choice available to those customers, like me, of somewhat larger dimensions than the average, it was a delight to find that not only do Brook Taverner cater for my size but also have the items in stock. Delivery was exactly as predicted and the fi t of the two suits ordered perfect.

After trying local shops and making do with what was there and getting suits altered. I tried Brook Taverner wool suit, measured my inside leg, checked the size charts, and selected the most suitable size. Bought the suit, it arrived fast and in a box that seemed to have no weight. The suit was presented well. im chuffed with my suit and cant wait to wear it to a wedding. Its a pity they dont offer a wider range of black suits
