Description

Cords have been a staple in the country gentleman’s wardrobe ever since they first hit the fashion scene in the 18th Century. These days, refinements in cut and fit, and the fact that their shine and texture works wonderfully in a range of beautiful colours, means our soft yet durable cords are a hit not only with countrymen, but also with everyone from Italian fashionistas to Shoreditch hipsters.

 

 The Finningley needle cord is made from a classic stretch cotton, needle cord ’14 wale’ fabric.  Available in tailored fit in Amber, Port, Grape and Navy

I believe this is my fourth pair of Finningley cord trousers. A favourite of mine as the tailored fit suites my frame and is fashionable and smart. The cloth is excellent quality and the colours are easy to coordinate with. I wear my Finningley cords at weekend's in the winter and swap to Chinos in the summer. Recommended.

Very pleased with the fit and style of these cords. Colour described as grape is quite dark and not dissimilar to navy which was acceptable. Have not washed these yet but initial impression of material and make is good.

Happy with the product - good fit. Only complaint is that when they arrived on the hangers there is a quite distinctive line at approx. knee level depressing the cord due to the elasticated hangers. Hopefully with strong brushing and wearing this might disappear in time.
